📄 Documents to bring
- Student's birth registration certificate
- Photocopy of a parent/guardian's citizenship certificate
- Proof of school enrollment/attendance
- Proof of low income, Dalit status, or disability, if applying under that category
- Previous year's result, for merit-based scholarships
🧭 Steps
- 1 Ask the school for the scholarship notice/application form
- 2 Fill it out and attach the required documents
- 3 Submit it to the school, which forwards it to the municipal/rural municipal education section
- 4 If approved, funds are disbursed to the school or the student's bank account
💡 Tips
- Ask at the school at the start of each academic year — deadlines can be easy to miss
- If you qualify under more than one category (e.g. both Dalit and low-income), mention all of them
